Emerson Lamarre

Emerson Lamarre is the Principal Lawyer and Founder of Elite Defence Lawyers, a professional criminal defence firm committed to providing strong, strategic, and results-driven representation across New South Wales.

Emerson holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law. He is admitted to practise as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.

Having practised exclusively in criminal law throughout his career, Emerson appears in courts across Greater Sydney on a daily basis—often handling multiple matters in different jurisdictions each day. This extensive courtroom experience has enabled him to develop exceptional advocacy skills and a deep understanding of how to achieve the best possible outcomes for his clients.

His expertise includes sentencing hearings, defended hearings, bail applications, District Court severity and conviction appeals, Supreme Court bail applications, section 14 mental health applications, licence appeals, and parole board hearings. Emerson is known for his strategic preparation, persuasive advocacy, and unwavering commitment to defending his clients’ rights. He provides clear, practical advice and works tirelessly to protect his clients’ future and reputation.

Working within the legal sector Emerson found that clients would become a number after time. Valuing the relationship built over the years, Emerson decided to create a firm that put the client's needs first. Emerson understood that client's lives depended on the results of their case and wanted to ensure each client he represented received the best possible outcome.

With a strong desire to facilitate justice, Emerson opened Elite Defence Lawyers as a means to represent clients in the Greater Sydney region.
